Wine Makers Dinners:

The Grande Boutique Hotel in Hepburn Springs is holding a series of winemakers dinners as ‘arranged marriages’ in the recently opened Grande Dining Room.

The 1920’s built Grande operated as a premiere Daylesfored and Hepburn Springs accommodation and function venue catering to spa resort guests.  Recently refurbished, The Grande has reopened its doors to welcome guests to inspired dining experiences, stylish accommodation, and a period style ‘Flicker Bar’ cinema/function room.

Diners at the Winemakers dinners will be treated to a fabulous Middle Eastern inspired menu produced by Chef Andrew Dennis.  Local vignerons from the Daylesford region have been invited to match their wines and create dining marriages made in heaven.

The October 12th Winemakers Dinner will feature Eastern Peake wines by Norman Latta and produce from Tuki Trout Farm. 

The menu will be served banquet style, with shared dishes, lucky door prizes, and the opportunity to quiz both Norman on the wines and Rob Jones from Tuki on the food, and our Chef Andrew Dennis on how the menu was matched.  Enjoy good food, good wines, and good lively conversation and most importantly great company.

Flicker Bar Cinema:

 Fade the Lights and settle in for a Magical Grande Moment in The Grande’s recently completed 1920’s style Flicker Bar cinema.  Equipped with traditional red leather cinema seats, a bean bag or two, and a state of the art projections system- a night in the Flicker bar is sure to entertain movie lovers of any age. 

Staff at the Grande have taken an innovative ‘festive’ approach to funcitons, events and film screenings in the Flicker Bar.  Don't miss out on the monthly Friday night Flicker Bar Feature, food and festivity. 

The Flicker Bar schedule includes a Mid-Week art house/blockbuster screening, and Sunday Matinees where you can enjoy movie greats, comedy, adventure or something fun with the kids.  From silent screen movie stars to block buster favourites, the Flicker Bar will screen something for everyone. 

Packages include a warming Tagine- Middle Eastern inspired meal, and of course, a flick!  The Flicker Bar offers full bar service, popcorn and a range of other treats…with a twist!  From private functions and parties, to regular screenings, there is a Flicker Bar option to suit.
