Following on from our very successful Air Show on Easter Sunday 2004, this year the bi annual event promises to be bigger and better in every way.

International Airshow Down Under PhotoFirstly, it is now a full family day including attractions and events specifically for children and a wider programme and presentation of classic vintage cars and machinery, and an even bigger noisy tractor pull.

The major aeronautical attraction will be two aerobatic displays by world renowned Pip Borrman doing gravity defying loops and rolls. Morning session 11.30am and afternoon 2.30pm.

There will be many spectacular fly-overs by a huge variety of aircraft from Tiger Moths to Military PC9’s. ‘Pay for Rides’ will be available in Helicopters and Vintage aeroplanes. Over 100 sports and pleasure planes will be on static ground display as will be a large array of classic and vintage cars and trucks.


Music is being supplied by Police and local Bands. A variety of food and drinks are being supplied both by Service Clubs and other vendors.

Sky diving and parachute jumps will add thrills. Two major prize Raffles will be drawn on the day. Pre-sold tickets are available for order hereKyneton Air Show 2006

Souvenir Programmes (16 pages in colour) are available at $2.00 per copy and all Sponsors are included as are acknowledgements of all support from many individuals and organisations.

A special “2 event and accommodation package” in conjunction with Kyneton Racing Club is an offer with attractive concessions to Easter Saturday Race Day and our Air Show & Family Day.

We anticipate in excess of 5000 people in attendance and all monies raised go back into local worthwhile causes and charities.
